Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in CAM programming, CNC operation, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and electrical discharge machining (EDM).

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, including lathe operations and assembly techniques.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is preferred.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and operating various types of machinery, including press equipment.

  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of Mastercam or similar CAD software for interpreting designs is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of materials handling practices within a manufacturing context.

  • Ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are preferred.

CNC Programmer/technician

Responsibilities

  • MUST BE ABLE TO INTERPRET BLUE PRINTS

  • Operate CNC milling machines with precision and efficiency.

  • Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

  • Perform programming tasks using Fanuc/Haas and similar controls to create machining programs.

  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance using hand tools and measuring instruments.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

  • Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
